This is NOT IED Milano

In May 2023 we were guests of Professor Michela Bonafoni to hold a lesson within the Fashion Stylist & Communication degree course at the IED Milano institute.

We introduced the collective and its activities to the students, outlining the purpose of the project and illustrating all the main aspects of the Web3 ecosystem.

We described the differences between Web2 and Web3, we explained what Blockchain is and what its potential is, focusing on Non Fungible Tokens (NFTs), illustrating the characteristics of ownership and uniqueness of digital artworks created using this technology, and giving some notions about the history and evolution of meme culture and the birth of NFTs.

We explored the theme of digital culture, communication and activism, reporting concrete examples of realities operating in this field, and focusing on the importance of the concept of community and the use of artificial intelligence, both from the perspective of artistic and content production.

We also reported official data on the propensity of new generations to support social causes, highlighting the potential of using Blockchain in the charity sector.
